My Portfolio

My client wanted multiple deck boards, handrails, and stair treads replaced. They also sent an inspirational photo showing a skirt around the bottom of the deck and it all painted the same color. I made my clients idea become reality all while saving them money on materials by using fence pickets for the skirt boards. I also added an access door for storage underneath the deck for my client. My client loved the look of the deck skirt and the final paint color choice was “Noir” by Sherwin Williams. This transformation looked incredible once I was finished!

This is one of those last minute brush clean up jobs a client needed because they missed the pick up from the city. Grounds For Removal, LLC does big and small projects!

My client asked me to color drench their bedroom all one color but three different finishes flat, satin, and matte. The trim painted satin, walls painted matte, and the ceiling painted flat. The bedroom was a 15x16 with 13 ft ceilings. I installed a new ceiling fan and curtain rod with long green curtains. It was an incredible transformation!

This project consisted of removing the existing roof above the deck. The photos are of the demolition phase and of the new roof built. I used shiplap for the ceiling and reinstalled the old light which was still in good shape. I carefully caulked the ceiling joint between the existing vinyl edge and the new ceiling. I caulked a lot of spaces where I thought bugs would get into. The new roof looked incredible once I was finished.

This project included the removal of all of the top wood beams making room for the new louver roof frame system to be installed. During this project all of the tops of the handrails were replaced with composite boards.

The gate was painted and adjusted with new hinges installed and a composite board installed on top. This transformed this deck in a useful outdoor space. The louvers were made from cedar which really complemented the dark wood paint used.

This was a wonderful transformation! The space turned into a bright and welcoming place. The ceilings were scraped, sanded, and painted. LED lights and a fan were installed to brighten and modernize the room. The floors were replaced with high quality pergo waterproof flooring. Crown molding was added and the chimney was painted.

This was a fun project from the start and it turned out phenomenal! During this project all of the vinyl was removed and replaced with ship lap boards. The original porch beams were covered in ship lap boards and stained a dark walnut color to match the ceiling.

I replaced one beam that had extensive wood rot. The ceiling ship lap was stained a dark walnut and when you walked under it and looked up you saw how beautiful the stain made the ship lap. This was a huge project and it turned out unbelievable!

I thought this was going to be a quick renovation project because it was only a 40 sqft full bathroom. It ended up being an entire demolition including sub-flooring that had major wood rot.
It turned out to be an incredible transformation! This was one of those times this had to be done the right way. Another wonderful renovation!

This kitchen was a total renovation from the floors to the ceiling. LED lights were added to brighten the space. New stainless steel appliances, induction stovetop, high quality cabinets, custom made wine rack, butcher block countertops, and a big farmhouse sink!
Space between the refrigerator and the stove was increased so several people could work in the kitchen together. This turned into a warm and inviting space!
